Heute war es so weit. Der 15millionste Steam Account wurde eröffnet. Laut VALVe waren das zwei Millionen neue Accounts in den letzten neun Monaten.

Dies entspricht einem Wachstum von sagenhaften 158%. Erreicht wurden diese vor allem während der Ferienzeit. In der veröffentlichten Pressemitteilung nennt man Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, und die Orange Box als Wachstumsmotoren. Für 2008 soll es neue Community Features und den VALVe - Titel Left4Dead geben.
