Seit kurzem ist ein Beta Update des Steamclients verfügbar. Die Installation des Updates ist freiwillig und behebt Probleme mit einigen Funktionen der Steamcommunity und bringt DirectX 10 Unterstützung für das Ingame Overlay mit, welches sich nun auch in DX10 Spielen (z.B. Bioshock) aufrufen lässt.

Die Installation des Updates ist vorerst freiwillig, die Funktion zum Installieren des Updates befindet sich im Einstellungsdialog des Steamclients.
